BOSTON (CBS) – The Boston Bruins will be without forward Rich Peverley for the next couple of days as the winger deals with a personal matter back in Boston.

Bruins head coach Claude Julien said Peverley flew back to Boston on Sunday, and will miss both Monday night against the Panthers and Tuesday against the Lightning as the B’s continue their four-game road trip.

Julien did not discuss Peverley’s reason for returning to Boston, but said he will likely rejoin the team in New Jersey for Thursday night’s game against the Devils.

Peverley has missed four games this season due to injuries, but has contributed with seven goals and 22 assists.
