Bradley Jay: 'Don't Fight Winter, Enjoy It.'
Winter can be a real slog. It does interfere with work, communting, and lots of outdoor activities. And perhaps you are just not the snowboading or skiing kind. I certainly understand that.
There is other option that presents real adventure and is cheap, close, and fun for the whole family. You really ought to try snowshoeing.
I realize that yor initial reaction to my suggestion is probably something close to "why would I want to walk around in the cold with tennis rackets strapped to my feet?" My answer is 'just watch this video.' It is a great way for New Englanders to get the most out of our winter wonderland. And yes, there is snow up North.
