For the Sweet Sassy Molassy Awards the guys find the best in announcing. Sometimes it’s folks trying to break into the big time or they might be on the big stage already. At times you might wonder why they are there.

The first announcer is from Santa Clara basketball where they have some of the “best” announcers in college. Listen to this one announcer react to a very controversial play. The ball goes over the backboard and out of bounds and a player grab it and throws it in. The team starts to celebrate and the announcer loses it.

The next Sweet Sassy Molassy Award goes to Matt Millen. Millen was up in the booth with Sean McDonough working the Fiesta Bowl when the dirtiest head-to-head hit happened. It was such a violent hit that the victim’s helmet flew off, but Millen thought the hit was clean.
