Supermarket Employee Wins $7 Million Grand Prize In Mass. Lottery Raffle

BRAINTREE (CBS) – The top two winners in the Massachusetts Lottery's $10 Million Raffle stepped forward to claim their prizes.

Kathleen Crewe, 57, of Millbury, bought the ticket that won the $7 million grand prize from Goretti Supermarket. She is employed at the Millbury store as the Controller.

The store received a $50,000 donation for selling the winning ticket.

Crewe says she kept the ticket safe by putting it inside a thermos which she placed inside a fire-resistant bag. She says, "It has been the longest two days of my life." She plans to first help her mother with some necessary home repairs.
