BOSTON (CBS) – Boston’s First Night celebration is all but ready.

First Night will Showcase 1000 different artists in 200 exhibitions and performances spread throughout the city.

On Friday, groups participating in the festivities went through their final rehearsals.

Ice sculptors trimmed up their masterpieces, covered them, and hoped for temperatures to plummet.
