Moms recently staged a “nurse-in” at Target stores across the country to raise awareness of the controversies related to breast feeding in public.

No controversy here. I am one hundred percent in favor of it.

Any one who has a problem with it is suffering from twisted Puritanical pho-morality and needs to get a life. The kid is eating breakfast. That’s it. No big deal.

If you are uncomfortable with the process, you need to go seek professional help.

If case you forgot, God set things up so babies receive nourishment from their mother’s breast. If you have a problem with the system, take it up with God.

That said, mothers who breast feed in public need to understand that people are going to watch. Don’t expect folks to avert their gaze while the miracle of life is in progress. It is interesting and people are are going to watch.

I am comfortable unless they are doing it just to make point.

I breastfed my babies. I fed them when they were hungry. I didn’t do it to make a statement. I was very discreet about it. You can breastfeed in public and be discreet.
