Methuen Firefighter Laid To Rest
METHUEN (CBS) - Methuen firefighter Robert George was laid to rest Tuesday.

He died last week of suspected cardiac arrest, but his death is being treated as an active duty death.
"The timing is never good, but around the holidays, it's especially difficult, especially in light of what's happened over the past few weeks. It just seems like the month of December is just not kind to firefighters," said Methuen Fire Chief Steven Buote.
George was a 16-year veteran of the department.
He was remembered as a strong family man and a good friend. He leaves behind a wife and two children.
