Woman Gets Pepper Sprayed In Quincy After Road Rage Incident

QUINCY (CBS) - Quincy Police are looking for an angry driver armed with mace. The woman got away after spraying another female driver in the face Monday.

"It burned. I've never felt burning like that in my life. It was awful," says Kathy, who doesn't want to make her last name public. "My face was completely beet red. It was swollen, and my eyes were really swollen. I could hardly open them up."

The two met at a stop sign just off the Southeast Expressway in Quincy. Kathy says the woman was pulled over to the right behind the stop sign looking down. She says she thought she was looking at a map or GPS, so she drove around her. That's when the woman followed her into a parking lot. When Kathy got out of her car to take down the license plate number, she says the woman tried to run into her, and sprayed her in the face.

WBZ-TV's Christina Hager reports

"Somebody should actually sit her down and tell her that wasn't very nice, and she could really have hurt somebody really really bad. Maybe she can live with herself knowing she did that to somebody, but I know I could never live with myself for the rest of my life if I hurt somebody like that," says Kathy.

She did manage to get the last two letters of the angry driver's license plate..."AG". She says it was a white SUV with Florida plates, and the driver was a blonde woman in her 30's.

While police try to track her down, Kathy is left with two words. "Merry Christmas to her. Merry Christmas."
