AAA Southern New England reports Monday that self-serve, regular gasoline dropped six cents in the past week to an average of $3.22 per gallon.

The Massachusetts price is a penny below the national average for the same grade, but still 22 cents more than at the same time last year.

AAA found self-serve, regular as low as $3.09 per gallon and as high as $3.43.
