PEABODY (CBS) – Police are investigating a double homicide in Peabody on Sunday morning.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Kim Tunnicliffe reports.
The victims, 23-year-old Jonathan Ramos and 24-year-old Richard Duran, were at a gathering at 8 Aborn Street late Saturday night. Duran lives at the home.
Just before 3:15 a.m., Peabody Police received a call from Salem Hospital that paramedics there were treating the victim of a shooting. That victim was Ramos, who later died from his injuries.
Police then went to the home on Aborn Street and found Duran dead.
Both victims were known to police, and knew each other. Authorities said the shootings were not random acts.
State police, the district attorney’s office, and Peabody police are all investigating.
