Brockton Mom Gives Birth Outside Her Home
BROCKTON (CBS) -A Brockton mother and her baby are spending another day at the hospital after the woman delivered her son in the parking lot outside her home.
Baby Darnell, wasn't due until New Year's Day. But he and mom, Dadie Petit-Frere showed up at Brockton Hospital on Thursday.
Dadie says she was on her way to the hospital to deliver Darnell, but apparently he had other ideas.

"Tried to get inside the car but the baby said 'nope, you're not getting inside the car,'" Petit-Frere said.
Her husband Jude, who was with her at the time, admits he was "freaking out." But now he's all smiles.
First responders showed up, cut the umbilical chord and stabilized baby Darnell, who weighed in at a lucky 7 lbs, 7 oz.
