MERRIMACK, NH (CBS) – A burglar got more than he bargained for when he tried to break into an apartment in Merrimack, New Hampshire Monday morning.
Police say the suspect kicked in the door to an apartment on Daniel Webster Highway around 9:30 a.m.
That noise woke up a woman who was sleeping inside the apartment.
She grabbed a handgun and when the burglar walked into her bedroom, she told him to leave.
Police provided a sketch of a man they say snuck into an apartment
According to police, the man had knocked on other doors, claiming he was looking for someone, before he broke into that victim’s apartment.
He’s described as a white man around 30 years old, medium height and build, about 180 pounds, and had brown eyes.
