BOSTON (CBS) – David West will not be wearing Celtics green this season, as the free agent forward has agreed to a deal with the Indiana Pacers according to Yahoo! Sports.
West agreed to a two-year, $20 million deal with the Pacers as trade talks between the Celtics and New Orleans Hornets died off early Sunday morning.
West was rumored to be heading to Boston as part of a sign-and-trade with New Orleans. The former All-Star would have given the Celtics a solid power forward and legitimate scoring threat off the bench.
