HINGHAM (CBS)- Hingham police are looking for a man who tried to rob a woman outside a bank Friday night.
The woman, a manager at a local business, was outside the bank around 9:30 p.m. making a night deposit from her job.
She stepped out of her car at the Rockland Trust Bank on Sgt. William B. Terry Drive and had just dropped her deposit bag into the deposit slot when a masked man walked up behind her demanded the bag.
The victim told the thief she had just deposited the money and didn’t have any more.
The suspect, who never showed any weapon, took off running. Police say the victim noticed a second person standing about 50 feet away, who also took off running.
Police say first suspect was white, around 5’11″, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, dark gray jeans, and a white bandana covering his face.
