LOWELL (CBS) – A bus driver was in court in Lowell Tuesday accused of driving drunk with special needs children on board.
The driver, 53-year-old Mary T. Morrison allegedly crashed into two parked vehicles on Broadway Street in Lowell on the morning of October 25.
Fourteen children were believed to be on board prior to the bus being taken out of service. There were no reported injuries as a result of the alleged crash.

Morrison was cited for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, 14 counts of child endangerment while operating a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident after property damage.
Morrison was released on her own recognizance but must submit to random alcohol and drug tests.
