David Hobson escaped from a NH prison.
ROCHESTER, N.H. (CBS) – A fugitive who escaped a New Hampshire jail last Thursday has been captured by U.S. Marshals in Rochester.
Maine State Police say David Hobson was captured after receiving a tip late Tuesday afternoon. The arrest took place near the Market Basket store along Route 125, about two miles from the Maine-N.H. border.
Hobson was in a car driven by another man and was taken into custody without incident.
More information about the search and capture will be made public Wednesday.
Last week, Hobson escaped from the Carroll County House of Corrections in Ossipee, N.H., where he was awaiting trial on a burglary charge. Officials say Hobson escaped by climbing over the jail’s razor-wire fence.
