Bridgewater State Student Stabbed Outside Off-Campus Residence
BRIDGEWATER (CBS) - A Bridgewater State University student was stabbed outside an off-campus apartment on Sunday morning.
The student reported to police that he was stabbed with a knife in the upper chest after a brief altercation with another man outside the residence on Burrill Avenue.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is described only as a tall white man.
Police said the incident appears to be random.
Because the incident occurred at a privately-owned, off-campus residence, Bridgewater police are investigating.
