Toucher & Rich: The Fun That Was The Valentine Presser
The Red Sox introduced Bobby Valentine as their new manager at a press conference on Thursday.
Toucher & Rich took some highlights, and pointed out some things that you might have missed.
There was a lot made of Bobby V not being Ben Cherington's pick for the job, even though the Red Sox would want you to believe it was. Well Cherington didn't do himself any favors when describing who made the decision.

The guys pointed out that Valentine seemed to like to talk off mic and talk when there's not anything to say.
The guys also had a big laugh over Larry Lucchino, John Henry, Ben Cherington and Bobby Valentine posing for pictures.
While some reporters were fawning over Valentine, one reporter was regulating. Dan Shaughnessy brought a great question early in the presser asking Cherington about the reports that Bobby V wasn't his choice.
