George Rose was charged with posession of child pornography. Police are concerned over his “frequent” use of XBOX Live.
FALL RIVER (CBS) – Fall River police are concerned that a level three sex offender arrested on child porn charges may have come in contact with minors using XBOX live.
Officers arrested 49-year-old George Rose Jr. this week after they say they found a “substantial amount” of illegal photos in his home.
Police say that during the investigation, they discovered that Rose was a frequent user of the video game system XBOX-Live.
They are not saying whether Rose may have shared any of those illegal photos through the game system.
However, investigators are asking any parents that feel their child may have had contact with Rose while using XBOX Live to contact their Major Crimes Division at (508) 324-2796.

I was not aware that one could share pictures and other files through XBox Live. This article is poorly written and ridiciculous on so many levels. Also, since XBox live uses Usernames, it is very unlikely that anyone would know that their child had contact with this man unless they release his gamertag.
