Patriots Release DB Phillip Adams
FOXBORO (CBS) - The Patriots released defensive back Phillip Adams on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old Adams played in six games for the Pats this year, registering eight tackles.
He had been apart of a banged up secondary. Safety Pat Chung and cornerback Devin McCourty have missed each of the last two games.
Adams was a seventh round pick of the 49ers in 2010.
