Dominican Counsul Urges Quick Inquiry Into 34-Year-Old Mom's Murder
BOSTON (AP) — The consul general of the Dominican Republic is urging Boston police to quickly investigate the killing of a 34-year-old mother who comes from a leading family in the Caribbean nation.
The Boston Globe reports Thursday that Consul General Dominico Cabral of Boston says his country's government is "very interested" in solving the case.
Rosanna Camilo was found dead with a power cord wrapped around her neck Monday in her Mattapan apartment. Police say an autopsy has determined that Camilo was murdered.
Authorities say there were no signs of forced entry into the ground-floor apartment
Camilo is a Dominican national. Her father is a radio executive and government official.
