Patrick is expected to sign the casino measure early this week.

He said Friday that he was still reviewing the lengthy and complicated bill, but believed that it had met the parameters he established for expanded gaming in Massachusetts.

The bill would authorize three resort-style casinos and one slots parlor in the state.

Patrick is also expected this week to sign a new congressional district map approved by the Legislature last week, as well as a bill that would impose life sentences for people found guilty of trafficking children for sex or forced labor.
