Blue Angels Fly Over Boston

BOSTON (CBS) – If you thought you saw fighter jets streaking over Boston Thursday afternoon you were right.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Mark Katic reports

The Blue Angels were in town to practice for an event next year.

Watch the raw video:

Two planes made a couple of passes over Boston Harbor and the Charles River around 12:30 p.m.

Practicing for an event that’s EIGHT MONTHS away?? Yeh, that makes Total sense.

      It really ‘does’ make sense!

I’m sure they took recon pictures on their pass’s to pick out land marks. They’ll study them & compute ‘time speed & distance’ for their program….(200th anniversary War of 1812)

After all you wouldn’t want them to ‘bump’ into the ‘Zakim or Tobin’ bridge, would ya?

      Durrr….
