SEEKONK (CBS) – A Providence man faces drunk driving charges following two accidents in Seekonk.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Doug Cope reports.
Kenneth Santos, 32, faces OUI and other charges, after he allegedly caused two crashes, moments apart, on Route 195 in Seekonk Friday night.
Investigators said Santos crossed the median and into the eastbound lane, causing a three-car crash. He then allegedly drove from the scene and into the westbound lane, rear-ending another car and injuring two people.
State police said Santos then ran from the scene. Troopers caught up with him a short time later at a local Dunkin Donuts.
Santos is being treated for injuries suffered in one of the crashes. He’s also charged with driving without a license, speeding, and leaving the scene of an accident.
