Missing Wayland Teen Boarded Bus Bound For New York

WAYLAND (CBS) - Wayland police are looking for a 13-year-old girl last seen on Friday.

The girl reportedly went to Boston and boarded a Peter Pan bus headed for New York City at around 6:15 p.m.

She is described as 5'4" with long, brown hair and brown eyes.

"She is walking with a crutch from a knee or leg injury that she had sustained, so she has one crutch with her," said Jamie Berger, Wayland police detective.

The New York City Port Authority Police Department was made aware of the missing girl.

Police don't believe her disappearance is suspicious.

Anyone with information is asked to call Wayland police.
