Progress Software Fantasy Football Show: Week 8

BOSTON (CBS) - Nick Cattles and Mike Lockhart broke down Week 8 in Fantasy Football on the Progress Software Fantasy Football Show.

Here is some of the advice in case you missed it.

- Last week it was a QB carousel, this week it's running backs.  Some good starts include New Orleans Pierre Thomas (with Mark Ingram out) against the Rams and DeMarco Murray of Dallas.

- Stay away from Beanie Wells, who will likely play for Arizona, and anyone carrying the ball on Washington, because there is just no knowing what Mike Shanahan is planning for his backfield.

- Knowshon Moreno is still an unknown in Denver, with quarterback Tim Tebow taking away some runs from him along with Lance Ball.

- Anyone involved in the New York Giants passing game is a good bet for today, going up against a Miami Dolphins defense without Vohntae Davis.

- Cattles has vowed to praise Tim Tebow next week if he scores more than 15 Fantasy points against the Lions today.

- Pierre Garcon is the only player on the Colts that is worth a start against the Titans.

- Given the state of the Patriots secondary, Pittsburgh wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown are good starts this weekend.

- Miami running back Daniel Thomas and the Steelers Hines Ward are both out on Sunday.

- Injury expert Will Carroll of SI joined the show, and said Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson is closer to a return from a strained hamstring and will likely be back next week.

- Washington's Anthony Armstrong  (against Buffalo) and Denver's Demaryius Thomas (against Detroit) are a couple of wide receiver sleepers this week.

- Vikings receiver Michael Jenkins has some fantasy value now that Christian Ponder is throwing him the ball. He had three catches for 111 yards and a score last week against Green Bay.

- If Titans RB Chris Johnson can't do anything against the Indy defense today, next week he should find his spot on your bench.
