Police: Janitor Stole iPads From Wellesley Middle School

WELLESLEY (CBS) - A janitor is facing charges for allegedly stealing several items from Wellesley High School.

Police say Gino Lister swiped Macbooks, iPads, and other electronics from locked classrooms and storage cabinets.

Lister is also accused of taking silver and silver jewelry that students at the school had made.

The thefts took place over an extended period of time.

Police say Lister had access to the building and to the locked classrooms and locked cabinets where items had been stolen from.

Officers have recovered ten stolen computers so far and hope to track down more. They say Lister sold the items to people he knew.
