Patriots Dowling Doubtful, Mayo Questionable

FOXBORO (CBS) - The New England Patriots may get linebacker Jerod Mayo back against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Then again, they might not.

Mayo is listed as questionable on Friday's final practice report, along with four others. The Patriots linebacker has missed the last two games after suffering a knee injury in New England's Week 4 win over the Raiders.

Safety Josh Barett (thumb), running back BenJarvis Green-Ellis (toe), defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth (back) and offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back) are also listed as questionable for Sunday's game, giving them a 50-50 chance to play in Pittsburgh.

Rookie corner Ras-I Dowling is listed as doubtful, putting further strain on a Patriots secondary after the release of veteran Leigh Bodden on Friday.
