TO Works Out, But No NFL Teams Watch

(AP/CBS) - Wide receiver Terrell Owens held a workout for NFL teams on Tuesday, but none of them showed up.

The 37-year-old free-agent participated in some drills and caught passes Tuesday outside Los Angeles, both only two TV stations were on hand to watch.

ESPN and the NFL Network were there, and televised the showcase.

TO's agent Drew Rosenhaus said on Twitter that he will be contacting teams to tell them Owens "is immediately available to visit and work out for them. He could play this Sunday!"

There was some rumblings the New England Patriots may have been interested. There is a chance teams could still invite Owens in for a private workout.

Owens underwent surgery on his injured left knee over the offseason. He played 14 games for Cincinnati last year, making 72 receptions with nine touchdowns.

Owens has 153 career touchdowns over his 15-year career .
