Bruins Recall Caron From Providence

BOSTON (CBS) - One day after being sent down to the Providence Bruins, forward Jordan Caron is back with in the NHL.

The Boston Bruins have recalled the 20-year old forward, General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced Monday. He is scheduled to skate at the team's practice at Ristuccia Arena Monday morning.

Caron was assigned to Providence on Saturday and played in the Baby B's 3-2 loss to Albany on Sunday, registering one assist.

Kalman: Not Much Chris Kelly Can't Do

Sunday's game was Caron's first appearance in Providence this year.

Caron has skated in four games this season for Boston, averaging 9:03 of ice time. He was a healthy scratch in Boston's last two contests.

For his career, Caron has appeared in 27 games for the Bruins with 3-4=7 totals and six penalty minutes.

He was originally drafted by the Bruins in the first round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, 25th overall.
