FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) — State police say a man was killed after
he jumped out of a moving car in Fall River.

Police say 35-year-old Clifford Whelan of Somerset was in the
front seat of a car driven by Patrick Boynton of Somerset on
Saturday at about 2:20 a.m. when he jumped out while the car was on
a ramp to Route 6.

They say he suffered severe injuries and died later at a local
hospital.

Police were still investigating the accident and no further
information was immediately available.
