Victim Of Car Break-In Arrested For Beating Suspect

SWAMPSCOTT (CBS) – A man who caught someone breaking into his car ended up in trouble when he called the police.

Police say that Christian Johnson broke into a car on Cherry Street in Swampscott, but the car’s owner, Anthony McKay caught him.

Johnson couldn’t really speak during today’s arraignment, because McKay punched him in the mouth and broke his jaw.

Police arrested Johnson, but also gave McKay a summons for assault and battery.

    YOU CAN’T PROTECT PROPERTY IN MA.! If someone is there to rob you call the police. When seconds matter the police are just minutes away, you’ll be just fine.REMEMBER these illegals are tired, poor & yearning to be free. Don’t get in their way..

    I’ve told this story before – I was talking w/ my Insurance agent and she just had to pay on a b&e. This is how it went… Kids broke into this couples house while they were away on vacation – trashed the house and one of the kids got hurt… they sued the couple whos house they broke into… and won! The couples insurance had to pay! AMAZING – STUPID and WRONG… welcome to Massbackwards!
