BOSTON (CBS) – A new survey finds that for the first time, Massachusetts has replaced California as when it comes to promoting energy efficiency.

The non-profit American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy says Massachusetts is creating more green jobs and saving more energy than any other state in the country.

WBZ New England Business Editor Anthony Silva spoke with Michael Sortino, who wrote the report.

    the real question is what have the Mass taxpayers gotten out of it? I’d say about $2 BILLION in extra debt!!!
