DA: Tewksbury Man Blackmailed Teen Girl Online; More Victims Feared

WOBURN (CBS) - A Tewksbury man has been accused of luring a 15-year-old girl online with a false modeling promise and using her lewd photos as blackmail for sex.

Thomas Hutchinson, 19, was indicted Tuesday on charges including child rape and child pornography.

Earlier this year, the 15-year-old girl met someone named "Brittany" on MyYearbook.com. "Brittany," who authorities allege was actually Hutchinson, offered to connect the teen to someone involved in modeling.

Soon after, someone claiming to be in the modeling industry and using the screen name "Sexybeast5655" contacted the girl, who told the person she was 15. Authorities said that "Sexybeast5655" was actually Hutchinson.

The girl eventually sent nude photos and videos of herself to "Sexybeast5655," who later threatened to publish the content if she didn't have sex with his friend named "Tommy," who used the screen name "Tommy364587." "Tommy" was actually Hutchinson, authorities said.

Hutchinson allegedly arranged to meet with the girl, and drove to her house, told her to get in his car, and forced her to perform a sex act on Feb. 28.

Police later searched Hutchinson's home computer and found saved photos and videos, chats with "dozens of females" that appeared to be under the age of 18, and "numerous" videos and photos of child pornography.

Hutchinson was arraigned on July 8 and released on $2,500 cash bail. He was ordered to remain under house arrest on GPS monitoring.

Police are encouraging any additional victims to call the Computer Crimes Unit of the North Eastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council at 781-396-0893.
