Krejci Skates, But Doubtful For Tuesday

BOSTON (CBS) – David Krejci returned to the ice on Monday, but did not practice with the Boston Bruins and is doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Krejci has already missed two games after suffering an injury in practice last Tuesday. Coach Claude Julien said after Tuesday's game, Krejci will likely be considered "day-to-day."

"He's coming around," said Julien at practice. "He's probably doubtful for tomorrow and after that I would qualify him as day-to-day."

Tyler Seguin has centered the Bruins top line the last two games, tallying a goal and an assist.

Defensemen Adam McQuaid and Steven Kampfer both returned to practice for the B's. McQuaid suffered a neck injury in Boston's 3-2 loss to the Hurricanes last Wednesday, but the team is treating it as a concussion as a precaution.

McQuaid is expected to be a game-time decision Tuesday night.

Kampfer is coming off a left knee sprain during the preseason, and has yet to be cleared for contact.
