Winds of Change This Weekend

The rain and humidity is long gone. The winds of change have moved in today as low pressure deepens and pulls into southern Canada. The winds are providing a refreshing clean and dry airmass with the definite feel of fall. Bright sunshine this morning will give way to building PM cumulus thanks to cooler air aloft and a piece of energy which will move in later today which could trigger a late PM sprinkle or shower farther inland. Highs will average above normal in the mid-uppr 60s with some areas at the coast nearing 70. The winds will provide a chill to the air.

Wind Advisory for the entire south coast from 4 PM -5 AM Sunday for SW winds 20-30 with gusts to 45. The peak wind is expected later this afternoon into the early evening. Partly cloudy skies early this evening will clear after midnight with lows dropping into the 40's. Winds remain breezy right through Sunday.

Sunday will be another fall beauty with morning sunshine and some increasing PM clouds. Temps will be a tad cooler in the Lwr-mid 60's. Clouds will thicken late in the day with a weak low which will move through Sunday night which may trigger a shower or two.  This will bring a front which will stall south of New England. Fair skies will last into Monday before the clouds begin to increase with a weak low riding along the stalled front. Mostly cloudy skies should develop by Tuesday. the stalled front will become a warm front which will push back into the region and may trigger a few showers Tuesday...especially NW.

Another low will ride up the coast Wednesday along this stalled front and make for a period of heavy rain and showers Wednesday before quickly departing. Temps still in the 60's. Cool air advection on the backside with breezy NW winds will cool temps down into the 50's  and lwr 60's with partly sunny skies for Thursday-Friday.
