Heavy downpours and some storms can be expected this afternoon and this evening.
1-2" of rain is a possibility in some neighborhoods.
Winds will be breezey from the east-southeast.
High temperatures will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s as a warm front pushes north.
These showers and storms will end early tonight and allow for gradually clearing skies late.
This Weekend:
The jetstream goes zonal.
Skies will be partly cloudy on Saturday with high temperatures around the middle 60s.
Sunday will be sunny to start and cloudier to finish.
High temps will be in the lower to middle 60s.
Winds will be gusty all weekend reaching 35mph at times.
Fall foliage is reaching peak near the Vermont, New Hampsire and Mass. borders.
