Wright, who suffered the concussion during the season opener, also missed the second half of the 2010 season due to a concussion.

To take Wright's roster spot, New England signed defensive back Phillip Adams has been signed to the 53-man roster. Adams was originally signed by the Patriots on September 21 and was active but did not play in the games at Buffalo or Oakland.
