Couple Lost In Danvers Corn Maze Calls Police For Rescue
DANVERS (CBS) - Navigating through a maze can be a tricky thing. Some folks in Danvers found that out Monday evening.
Police say they received a cell phone call around 7 p.m. from a family that had gotten lost in the corn maze at Connors Farm.
Closing time for the corn maze was 6 p.m. and the callers had a young child with them.

The callers, who could not find their way out, and found themselves lost at dark, got in touch with police and asked for help.
WBZ-TV's Jim Smith reports
"We thought this would be fun. Instead, it's a nightmare," the caller told the 911 dispatcher.
Police officers sent out a K-9 unit to help track down the family. The dispatcher asked the male caller several times to yell out "Hello, K-9" until crews were able to track them down.

The 'missing' parties, who, according to the 911 call paid about $15 to walk the maze, were escorted to safety.
