The fire in an electrical room forced the MBTA to bus passengers Sunday evening.
BOSTON (CBS) - The B, C, and D lines on the Green Line were shut down for several hours Sunday evening because of an electrical fire at Kenmore Square.
The station had to be evacuated.
Crews were forced to shut power to the Green Line before they doused the flames.
Power remained off for awhile after, as they investigated the problem and made repairs.
