Two Men Charged With Passing Fake $20 Bills In Easton
EASTON (CBS) - Two men are under arrest in Easton, accused of passing counterfeit money.
Easton police say 20-year-old Michael Berksza and 21-year-old Ryan Endres tried to use fake $20 bills at several stores in their town.
Officers arrested the two men during a traffic stop in Mansfield. They recovered 15 counterfeit bills along with a sterling silver tea set. Police are trying to figure out where the tea set came from.
Secret Service is also involved in the investigation.
Last week, police in Newton said someone passed fake $20 bills at three different businesses there.
It's unclear whether there is any connection.
