Crash Shuts Down I-495 N In Littleton

LITTLETON (CBS) - Route 495 northbound was closed during rush hour Friday as crews cleaned up a large wreck.

State Police say two tractor trailer units and four cars were involved in the crash. One of the tractor trailers spilled fuel on the road.

One tractor trailer driver was taken to Lowell General Hospital with unknown injuries.

The crash caused several other minor injuries.

All lanes of traffic were reopened by 7:25 p.m.

At one point there was a 10-mile traffic back-up and the southbound side was seeing delays as well.
