CHELSEA (CBS) – A $2,000 reward being offered in a fatal hit-and-run accident last month in Chelsea.
Israel Sanchez was killed while crossing Route 16 in Chelsea, just after midnight on Aug. 28. The small, dark-colored car that struck him never stopped.
Luis Marquez said it’s been frustrating not knowing who took his brother’s life.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Bernice Corpuz reports.
“It’s very frustrating for the whole family. We don’t know if it’s a female or male. We don’t know the type of car that person was driving. All we know is what the detective has said,” said Marquez. “It’s a compact car, probably a four-door.”
Marquez added that his brother’s loss has been especially difficult for Sanchez’s 9-year-old daughter, Saida.
The reward is for information leading to the arrest of the driver.
