Mankins Returns To Practice, Haynesworth Sits Out

FOXBORO (CBS) – Logan Mankins returned to the practice field for the New England Patriots on Thursday, but Albert Haynesworth was back to being a spectator.

Mankins missed Wednesday’s session with an illness, but the All-Pro guard returned as the Patriots get ready to make their trip out west to play the Oakland Raiders.

Haynesworth was limited in Wednesday’s practice with a back injury that kept him out of last Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills. The defensive lineman was joined by tight end Aaron Hernandez (knee), Mike Wright (concussion) and Sebastian Vollmer (back), who all did not participate on Thursday.
