Felger & Massarotti opened the show discussing the end of the Red Sox season. After one of the biggest collapses in the history of baseball, the Red Sox were finally eliminated from playoff contention with a 4-3 loss to the Orioles in Baltimore. With the Rays beating the Yankees and the Sox losing, the Tampa Bay Rays are the Wild Card winners.

Now that it is finally over, who is to blame for this collapse? Can we blame God for the loss? Injuries were NOT the problem with this team. One of the beauties of baseball is that over a 162-game season, you get what you deserve. This team deserved to lose. This Red Sox team had flaws in multiple areas. Which players on this team can go into the offseason feeling good about their performance this year?

While fielding some calls, the listeners let Fegler and Mazz know what they feel the issue was with the Red Sox and what they need to do to bounce back?

During the rain delay, the Red Sox watched the Rays get back into their game against the Yankees. How much did knowing that the Rays game was tied affect the Red Sox performance after the delay?

Which Red Sox players want to be involved in big moments?
