CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — Colton Chapple threw two touchdown passes and Harvard forced five turnovers in a 24-7 victory over Brown on Friday night.

Treavor Scales rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown for the Crimson (1-1, 1-0 Ivy League), who improved to 5-0 in night games at Harvard Stadium. Harvard also improved to 79-30-2 in the series against Brown, which dates to 1893.

Kyle Newhall-Caballero passed for 269 yards and a touchdown for the Bears (1-1, 0-1), but also tossed three interceptions. Mark Kachmar had 19 carries for 97 yards.

Brown trimmed Harvard’s lead to 14-7 on Newhall-Caballero’s 30-yard TD pass to Tellef Lundevall in the third quarter, but Chapple responded with a 56-yard scoring pass to Adam Chrissis with 6:39 left in the game.
