PEABODY (CBS) – A 63-year-old woman was struck and killed by a car in Peabody Thursday morning.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Carl Stevens reports
It happened at the corner of Washington and Main Streets just after 6 a.m.
Authorities say the driver did stop and was cooperating with police.
No charges have been filed at this point in the investigation.
The woman’s name has not been released. She was from Peabody.
It’s not clear if she was in the crosswalk at the time of the crash.
