Reward Offered For Arrest In Concord, NH Hate Crime

CONCORD, N.H. (CBS) - A $1,000-reward is being offered for a tip leading to the arrest of a suspect who wrote hate-filled messages on homes in New Hampshire.

The hateful messages were discovered Sunday morning on three homes on Downing Street and Perley Street  in Concord, all places where African immigrants live. They said things like "you are not welcome here" and call the residents "cursed."

Police said the messages were "intended to cause fear and alarm to those who read them."

Police said a citizen who wants to remain anonymous put up the reward money.
