BOSTON (CBS) – Locally brewed craft beers have some new competition. Boulevard Brewing of Kansas City is starting distribution in New England of its top-end labels.

Boulevard Vice President Bob Sullivan tells WBZ he’s testing the waters here, going after the occasional drinker who’s looking for a high-end beer.

Boulevard will be distributed in New England through the new Massachusetts Beverage Alliance.
