LOWER MANHATTAN (CBS) – Jaya Gosh of New Jersey was in the hospital September 11, 2001, giving birth to her son Anish.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Carl Stevens reports
Also in that room was the boy’s uncle, who otherwise, would have been at work at the World Trade Center.
Jaya told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 her son’s birth saved his uncle’s life that day.
As she looked at the Freedom Tower under construction and the 9/11 Memorial in Lower Manhattan Thursday, she talked of a country and a city moving forward.
“It’s so wonderful and it just shows the spirit of New York. We are fighters and we will be back again and even better, even bigger, even stronger.”
